Find an IoCF Celebrant

When you choose a funeral celebrant who is a member of the IoCF, you are choosing someone who will help you create the most beautiful ceremony possible for the person you have lost.

Why choose an IoCF celebrant?

Helen Williams

My name is Helen Williams, I live near Carmarthen but have officiated in crematoriums from Narberth to Margam. I have also created ceremonies for natural burials at Usk, Builth Wells and in someone’s own grounds. I will work with you to create the funeral ceremony, with or without religion, to best help you say goodbye. Contact me direct on 07986 526732 or ask your funeral director to call on your behalf. Every funeral is so different, one may be quite solemn whilst the next person wants to shed happy or melancholy tears. All are completely personal. I do not pretend to know the departed, I do work hard to reflect their personality and their relationships with you, their loved ones and friends. So far, according to my clients and their guests, I have succeeded. If you need a celebrant, particularly in Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire, Swansea or Neath port Talbot, please get in touch.

I wanted to say a huge thank you for yesterday. It was a difficult day in more ways than one but what you did was beautiful and the send off they had will hopefully go someway in healing deep seated wounds.
Their friends will be unaware of many issues and they can go away with their memories of both of them in tact which was important to us. Dad loved Mum very much and that had to be respected.
Every one said what a wonderful service it was and how engaging you were in paying tribute to them.

I would like to thank you for speaking at Keith’s funeral today.

The unfortunate circumstances of Keith’s passing and the limited information we knew about his life made it particularly difficult for you to compose an appropriate eulogy. However, I thought you managed to strike the right balance between reflecting his life truly and yet avoiding the negative aspects of his later years. When for all bar those few years Keith had led an unassuming and inoffensive life, it would have been unfair to have dwelt on the changes that unaccountably came over him. In speaking about Keith, your respectful manner combined with the warmth of your delivery was, I am sure, appreciated by all. And considering we knew so little of Keith’s musical taste, the music you chose was quite fortuitous – an inspired guess on your part!

So thank you once more for all your efforts

Who would have thought that a Covid induced Zoom memorial with family and friends attending from various locations in Australia, Wales, England and Berlin could be so meaningful and delightful. I could not have hoped for a better person than Helen to lead this virtual memorial/celebration of my mother’s long and meaningful life. We really appreciated her generosity of time and the sensitive and light touch that she brought to the planning and the actual event. I’m so glad I found Treasured Ceremonies. I cannot recommend Helen highly enough.
